Smithers_0990 i taped into the fog light wire so it turns on when my fogs do

Just make sure that you have a switch on it, so that you can turn it off when ever a cop is near. Last friday i got a ticket for the blue light in the front of my mp3.

ooo......that saves you a lot of money by just tapping it on the fog lights. Good thinking.

finding the right wires was a b****! stupid fog light wires turn red to blue WTF! then theirs a big bunch of wires in this 1 bundle that i had to strip and test each one for voltage ugh.. pain... theirs 2 wires comming off the fog light + (red) and - (black) obviously and then it goes into a bundle of wires you open that bundle of wires and you find!

- 2 blue with white spots
- 3 black wires with white spots 1 is a thinner AWG than the other 2
- 1 lime/black wire ?!?!?!?!?! WTF! where did this come from!

yeah some cops where i live are dumb!

like 1 year ago me and my friends (we went in a white accord with blue underbody all over) pull over where this cop is lidaring, on 14th (i live in calgary alberta) i ask him

"is it okay to have underbody neon on your car and have it on at night?"

his reply is

"yes it is okay as long as you dont have red on the front becuase that is reserved for brakes, any other color is fine, and also you can't have the bulb showing on the outside of the car (like you can't attach it to your roof or your door or something stupid)"

my reply "okay thats cool thanks!"

3 hours later me and my friends get pulled over in the accord and this dumb b**** woman cop says thats illegal, and were like no its not, and shes like yeah its stunting, im like WTF! but she let us go cause we argued about asking a cop earlier about it.

Some pigs...uhh...Police Officers (sorry Spoolin :( ) are surprisingly not knoledgable in this area. I have the Street Glow Blues on all 4 sides, and roll around past cops all the time in Arlington, and they have never cared, or messed with me. In the Texas State Statute, there is nothing specifically (that I have seen) that says you can't have them (neons). I think that the white neons would be the safest bet though! I have been approached by the cops in Allen, but I think the officer was accually training some new recruits on stopping someone cause this guy pulled me over, and 2 more squad cars showed up. He was very professional, and courteous, like he was teaching ...well you get the idea.

Colorado is vague on that stuff. The traffic code is very specific about turn signals and tail lamps, but nothing about lights under the car.

If they flash, I think that is where some cops would really have a problem. Blue lights are for police, red for other emergency vehicles (e.g. ambulances, fire trucks, etc.).

But even that has kind of fallen to the side, I've seen DOT trucks rollin' around with blue and yellow lights on them. I don't know, I think it depends on how much the officer is a jerk.
