Makes you wonder why replacing the turbo has ever fixed the smoking issue for some people, but at the same time it does answer why replacing it doesn't fix it for many.
Also takes some of the worry off having to deal with warranty and mods if you start smoking. Fix it yourself by checking your return line and adding a catch can first hopefully because it's not likely the seals in the turbo. As Ken has reported, many of the one's they've torn down that supposedly were leaking were just fine.
