Escort Redline 360c Radar Detector - Blendmount, alternatives

Managed to snag a escort redline 360c. Which blendmount would fit 2019 cx5 signature? Alternatives?

It looks like the rear view mirror neck is at least 1” long, but its shape is a weird rounded V.

My Radenso and R7 before are pretty bad with mazda on board bsm falsing. Good thing the Uniden R7 is able to set the rear horn sensitivity down making it bearable on my CX5 before

I don't know what a blendmount is, but I can comment on 'falsing' from the rear sensors. I have an older Escort, not nearly as advanced as the Redline, and it has no issues with false alerts from the car's sensors.

Got email back from Blendmount.

For 2019 Mazda CX 5 Signature (frameless RVM), the correct blend mount is BMG-2001R

I didn’t realize that the “weird u shaped stem” was actually a stem cover that needs to be removed 😅

That’s the blendmount I have with my Uniden r7. I didn’t have to remove any stem cover with mine.

Get yourself an invisicord/mirrortap as well. Nice and clean install.

2019 CX 5 signature
Escort redline 360c (came direct from escort with latest firmware 1.9)
Mirror taps: MTX-1015, RJ-11, 15" Long (from amazon)
Mount from etsy (Escort MAX 360c IX Ixc Alloy Radar Mirror Mount for Radar | Etsy)

Notes:
-Does not come with a mini usb to connect to computer
-I removed the rear view mirror plastic stem cover in order to ensure a secure mount fitting
- using voltmeter, black was ground, purple was “hot start/accessories”

The r7 is the only detector that can properly handle bsm falses. My r7 is quiet as a mouse in my 2019 cx5. The trick to silencing the falses is to turn mrcd on. I use the vortex recommended r7 settings.
