blackberry phone handsfree wont work

My Bb 9780 no longer pairs for hands free. It is still connected for media, but the phone shows up blanked out and will not use hands free phone function. Any ideas? Repairing does nothing. Neither did deleting and repairing.

Minor update. Just tried my wife's B b. Same result. Bugger.

Get a newer phone. iOS, Android, WP8. Anything other than the outdated BB.

More likely my car. It was working a few days ago.

Well its fixed. Thanks to my online repair manual I forgot I had. Simple. Go into screen diag. With acc on. Push radio power button and seek up button at the same time. This will put head unit into diag mode. Use code 37 to see if connected. Hit power button twice to reboot. Then for s**** and giggles. Reboot phone with power battery pull to reconnect.

More likely my car. It was working a few days ago.

no kidding. I've used some nearly antique phones with mine and only one had a connection issue after connecting fine so I just deleted it from the list and reconnected it.

I had Blackberry Torch 9800 which connected to the cars system no problem.... Last week I upgraded to the new Blackberry Q10.... I had to try a few times before finally getting the connection working.... Not sure how it finally worked, but it did and it has worked ever since.
