2007 Black MS3
Well, I finally got off my ass and got it done! Took my silver Gram Lights 57S in to the powdercoater and got them done "ebony black". It's not shiny, and it's not matte, and holy fack, they're beautiful! Big props to goldwing2000 for pointing me to the place where I got it done, I couldn't be happier.

Crappy pics - it's sleeting here so I can't get any sunny day shots. Those will come ....

Soon they'll be sitting pretty under my black MS3!

Damn! That rim is one of my choices of summer rims. Let me know how it looks on the car!

Awesome. Exotic Coatings kicks ass. (2thumbs)

How long did they take to complete them?

Well, it took a week and a half, but that was longer than usual because they got busted for having illegal fireworks stored there, and their power was shut off for 3 days while the cops cleared them out!!!

Oh s***! That sucks! Well, at least they're still there. (boom07)

I thought you said before that it was only $65 per wheel, though. (scratch)

Yeah, $65 was the estimate, once they saw them they said $85, and we compromised on $75. Still glad I got it done, even with the higher cost.

LoL... yeah, they do that to me all the time, too. :D

It's ok... I don't mind haggling over good work.

Were the wheels brand new?

Those are very nice looking wheels. I am thinking about having my OZs powder coated sunlight gold in a high gloss. My wife wrinkles her nose at the thought. in short, **** her. (loser) (angel)

Using the tires form the stock wheels. They don't even have 3000 miles on them yet! Have to take them off to get at the TPMS, so I figured I'd waste on these this summer and get new ones next year.

Kinda OT, but who knows stuff about powdercoat? I asked the guy if I had to wait, like when you get something painted, before I put my wheel sealant on them. He said they didn't need it, that powder was tough enough and didn't need anything but to be cleaned with soap and water. Will sealant hurt them? I know it makes getting brake dust off way easier, so I'd like to use it, but I don't want to screw anything up.
