best type of drill bit to drill through hood?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i think you should get a high pressure super soaker and use water pressure to go through the hood, like a CNC water jet machine... just much cheaper

Just keep drilling. They're speed holes! Also anyone have any ideas on how to keep the bull's horns on the front of the hood attached, zip ties don't seem to cut it.

This is a break through for the speed.

I was wondering how I could get more led skull windshield washer sprayers on my car. 2 just doesn't do it.

Oh for the love of god, people! You don`t mount the horns in front, they block the air ducts. You mount a sunroof airdam on the roof then screw the horns to that.
Damn rookies would put their johnsons in a fan if not for us wiser old timers.

Be careful running the wiring for the light up eyes, though. If falls against the intercooler and you get too much heatsoak the insulation could melt.

I'm not going to drive around with them on all the time. That would attract too much attention. I'm going to toggle them to my key fob and wire them to my subs so they flash when my car basses.

Just get another bigger amp w/ 2 more L5's to put a bigger draw on your electrical system. That way all your lights will "flash" together... (thumb) FTW!

dont forget to get some LED windshield washer lights

I'm trying to install a line of red LEDs up the center of my hood and wore a bit out after only drilling 3 holes. It's supposed to be a bit for metal. Also, will masking tape keep the paint from splintering as badly? It seems to crack off pretty badly when the bit goes through.

Any info appreciated.
Use a mag base drill press, and use a chalk line to get the holes in a straight line.

would not want this project to appear sloppy

I know this is a joke...

But even thinking about it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck! Both the thought of having LEDs on the hood and putting a drill bit THROUGH the hood :-)

No, adhesives may fail, for this you may want to tack weld a mounting bracket rail down the center of the hood, there is alot of wind turbulence in that area with reynolds numbers of over 2000
