Best TIP for MSCAI?

Installed my Turbo inlet!!! WOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! LOVE IT!! Anyone interested in it, GET IT!!!! I wish i would have got one when i got my intake, it would have just saved time. Kinda a pain in my butt with the bracket the holds the wire bundle down on the bottom...BUT WELLLL WORTH IT! SOUNDS SOOOO SEXY ALSO! Performance is def noticeable!

What brand inlet did you install?

I have an MS CAI with the PG inlet. It's good quality, but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't know if their design has changed since I bought mine, but the turbo inlet side is an angled cut right on the end of the mandrel bend which makes it VERY difficult to get a good connection with a silicone coupler without kinking it (no flat surfaces to make a good seal). If they'd added a little more pipe to make the connection it would be MUCH better...IMO. But I got a very good price, so I can't really complain much.

100% agree....I love the sound i love the performance...But the pipe it self kinda sucked as far as the design and install... I figured id pull the stock one out and install the PG inlet, but the pipe seems to be to small. I dont know it they did that for another car or what. And the angled end doesn't make much sense. But for the performance and price (and sound) i like it. Not sure though if i would buy the PG inlet again, i might go with another design but for the price who knows...

I agree. The sound is awesome!! I rode with a buddy recently around PIR who had the Cobb SRI and TIP. You couldn't even hear the turbo spool because of all that silicone muffling the noise. Mine on the other hand, the turbo spool is most of what you hear under WOT. I get looks and comments all the time ("Is that the turbo I hear?"), and that's before the forge does it's mario coin thing.

Haha..I have heard that comment about the Mario coin a few times..Love it. lol... I stilll havent got my HKS on but i hope i still like the sounds! Does yours seem kinda low? Like its a couple inches short?

Probably not much different then any other CAI...Im guessing
