Best service department in MN?

okay here is the story guys.

First of all I got my car towed to Walser Mazda through warranty and they probably got the cheapest towing company ever to tow it from mankato and hooked up the chain and tore out the hell out the under body of the car. They placed the chain in those little holes under the back seat. lucky the car stayed on the bed through out the ride to Burnsvile. I own a Mazdaspeed 6 by the way.

Second, when I got there they accused me of racing and falling in the ditch saying thats why I got the tow truck to tow it back , I was like what the ****? I got so steamed up.

Third, I just went there to get some bolts replaced that supported the rear differential up and to see how much it cost and if warranty covered broken bolts. It broke off due to vibration over time I guess and problably from shifting it hard to second on and off the off ramp. I don't even redline the car ever. (I also live on a really long gravel road that gives you free back massages for 15+ min)

They told me 2500 dollars. Due to disassembling the rear end to get to those bolt. I was like okay this is too much. I will go else where. Then The tech guy (older guy, should of got his name) totally disrespected me by saying your dad problably bought the car and he should fork out the money. I was even more steam up. I paid hella money for that car through hell of hard work and while going to college!!

I even had to pay almost 100 bucks just for them lifting the car up and looking under there and having them telling me a whole bunch of bulls*** and accusing me of things that never happened.

I ended up driving the car home with bad bolts in the rear end that day and
I brought It to a trusted shop in town and they took the sheared bolts out and put new ones in for 120 bucks. They were like disassemble? wtf for?

I feel so much better after releasing out this steam.

Wow, thats bulls***! Check the boards both here and at the "other" board. Sheared diff. bolts is a very common problem. I would do some research and go back to the dealer and have the "reevaluate" your repairs.

stay away from Morries, they totally f'd me one time. said they would cover the work, AND did the work, then told me I had to pay and couldn't have the car back because my car was in an accident. It was in an accident and insurance fixed it but missed the problem (it was 3 months later). So I called my insurance guy, he came to morries, checked out the damage and said yah he'd pay, but the price was too high, so he calls Walser, Luther, and then even calls morries on his cell to get a price quote for the part. All came back same exact price at $100 cheaper than they charged me. Insure guy talks to shop manager and after some arguing they agree on a price. Complete BS, took hours out of my day. NEVER GO THERE EVER!

i got my ms3 @ luther and any problem or question was handeled very quickly. and doug is ok, ive heard ho him having problems untill i had a check engine light come on. i had to go to him, he had the next avaible appt. he handeled problems decently but warranty issues suck.

I second Luther Mazda. Pretty decent service compared to any of the other dealerships I have been to. The only bad thing is I had my car in there this past July for the differential going poo. I'm assuming they left my chrome intake lying around cause they scratched the s*** out of it and told me that $250 for a new AEM intake was too much to pay and they would rather try to buff it out. I called the bs flag and took care of the issue myself. I was not about to be out of a car for another week as they wanted to keep the whole damn car while they fixed the intake pipe.

In case anyone is wondering, stay away from Polar, they can and will screw up on any job.

Story, my MS6 shifts hard/grinds 1-2 when it is below 20 and the car isn't warmed up. So, I brought it to Polar the night before the apt. I rode with the service manager. I told him it was most evident the first few shifts, while shifting under 2500rpm. It was -5, we walked out and started the car.(remember parked overnight) He pulled forward 20ft, stopped, and launched out of the parking lot doing a 4-wheel power slide, then shifted at 6k.(car had been running less than 30 secs) Did a few more high rpm launches/shifts and told me it works fine, I should learn how to push the clutch in completely...I won't go back.

I had my clutch TSB done at Walser and was very satisfied. They did put a couple scratches in my rims, but cut me a check to fix them. I'd go back.

**** Morries(dont get me started), Burnsville people seem decent. Luther in BP is the best in my opinion. Plus, one of my best friend's is a mechanic there and he has probably worked on some mazda forum member's cars. I dont know a thing about Polar so I dont know what to say. The only work I've had done anywhere was a new battery put in at Morries and silly warranty s*** like the alarm keeping my parking lights on, the rear bumper lip falling off, new suspension bushings.

Luther Brookdale is the best. I had my short block, turbo, bushings, bumper lip, water pump, 02 sensors, and cd deck all replaced under warranty. My MSP is horrible to me, but I still love it!

walser mazda just likes to act dumb. the sales people are amazing..but the service just sucks. They have always fixed my s*** with the msp, but i had to fight ALOT to get stuff done and under warranty. I just hope everything is well when something goes wrong with the ms3

I still like Walser Service the best...I just had my 30K done there and they even replaced my Injen CAI filter as part of the service.

Is that were you traded in the banana? I didn't see it anywhere there today.

I used to work for Morries in the Detail / Service department. I would hit up the morries row on 394 right near the 494 crossover. I have never had a problem taking any of my modded vehicles in for service.
