Who's got the best service department? I met someone who works at mnscc.net who works at Burnsville Walser's service department who's pretty cool. I met him there today to have my coolant topped off (when I got it the coolant was at the minimum line). He was really cool (Dana) but then I asked him about getting auto-lock enabled on my sport model. He didn't know anything about it so we went and asked someone else, I presume the manager. Well the manager told me they could enable it, for $104. (pissed) So I said, it should be covered under warranty as an adjustment. He said, nope, it's a dealer option that costs $104.

So who's the best? I heard Morrie's was bad....

i work with a guy at luther brookedale mazda mitsu who is pretty decent... covered a LSD with an intake mani, intake, and a FMIC... and boost gauge... no questions and got a loaner :)

I've always really liked Morries for service...talk to Jason.

I go to Brookdale Mazda mitsu too... Polar has ****** up my car too many times for me to go back there. Brookdale is pretty nice and they have never said anything about the mods I have.

doug is my guy at luther brookdale he has been cool... my car should be back on tues night

It's partly for that and because you always claim people as yours.

Doug is my guy
Ken is my guy
Joe is my Ho

Ok...I made the last one up, but I think you get the idea.

Ouch i didn't try to "take" ken lol but doug is cool and the guy i work with and ken is my boss lol and your right... joe is a ho lol

So 3 thumbs up for Luther, 1 thumbs up for and 1 down for Morries, and 1 thumbs down for Polar. Any opinions on Walser? A guy who works there is on mnscc a lot and seems pretty cool.

I suppose I can contribute to this thread rather than go off topic.

With my MSP, I mostly went to Luther (Where I bought it). They were pretty good about the mods, but if they could, they'd blame any problems on aftermarket parts. But if there was a problem, they always fixed it and never cancelled my warranty. I found Luther to be a little sloppy though. If they did my oil, they always seemed to make a mess.

I did go to Morries once with my MSP, and they were really cool. But that was only 1 visit to fix a belt that was 1 notch off.

With my MS6, I have only gone to Walser (Where I bought it). For the few little issues I've had concerns with, the comment on the ticket is always "noise from aftermarket intake" or "issue related to intake". So that really bugs me. But they also have not denied me any work or voided my warranty. They do a nice job when changing the oil, I haven't seen a mess or spilled drop yet. (Free oil changes for life)

I have heard nothing good about Polar, so I wouldn't go there.

i got my ms3 @ luther and any problem or question was handeled very quickly. and doug is ok, ive heard ho him having problems untill i had a check engine light come on. i had to go to him, he had the next avaible appt. he handeled problems decently but warranty issues suck.

I've gone to Morries almost every chance I need to. I have been very happy with what they have done. But I have also been extremely disapointed (finishing 5 hours later than expected with no phoe call - and not fixing the problem). I tried Walser, but after they tried to help me getting my windshield replaced (the glass company scratched my dash, then the guy who repaired the dash left overspray all over the car) I decided I had enough with them. My experience yesterday was good at Morries.

LOL...you must agree.

i hadn't given it too much thought honestly. i refer to my dealer as "my dealer" and "my parts guys". not like i love them in the homosexual fashion (i'm sure they wish they were so lucky) i guess its just habit. if matt wants to truly claim me though he's going to have do better than forum posts, cheap wine and steak dinners like its been lately. shame on you matt.

Don't go to walser mazda in burnsville, they have the worst customer service in the service department and they totally will try to rip you off even if you have warranty! Something that will cost about 100 dollar to fix they will charge over $2000. us. And they will try to get away with it by saying you abuse the car and bulls*** like that. Never been so disrespected by a service department before. You buy a brand new 30000 dollar car and they treat you so nice, but when comes to fixing it they are a bunch of asses.
