if you can find gauge rings, that would be a great choice. last second-hand set that i saw went for $80-90 IIRC.

i am with DeanSweet on that one. i love my gauge rings. they were only $25-30, i think, when i bought them. i could double that money if i could bear to part with them. unfortunately, i can't. i like them too much. there is a thread going on about making some clones, but not sure on a time frame or final quality. a vendor who got banned from here makes them also, but the fitment is crappy from what i have been told. my daveB's pressed right on and haven't moved in the years that they have been on.

im working on clones and wont bother you if theyre worse than said vendor .
but quality takes time, so the time frame is "when theyre done." im aiming for a few trial sets by early february.

and i suggested AWR mount and new sub - but youll have to wait until you find a used mount. i thought they were cheaper than they actually are...
if you dont do the mount now, you will when it breaks. pick.

why is the millenia one better?
