Back on track... is there anything else?

Short summary:

1: This an MSP (Mazdaspeed Protege) Only competition. (Do we accept MSP conversions? or only Original MSPS)
2: You CANNOT enter your own personal car. A car must be entered by another member with atleast 100 posts to be accepted to the competition.
3: The winner of this competition will recieve Bragging Rights Only.
4: Once 10 MSPs are CHOSEN & ACCEPTED to the competition the voting will begin. Any enteries after 10 will be entered into the next competition.
5: This competition will run (Aprox) 5 times for 1 year. The five winners will Hence forth be named the Top 5 Nicest MSPs of all time. At that point we can chose to run another Competiton.
6: any MSP that Appears Stock will NOT be eligible for this competition.
7: If you have a Photo, the car can be entered. Regardless of current condition
8: NO PHOTOSHOP. Color enhancing is acceptable to some level.

If this competition is for MSPs .. then it's for MSPs. Conversions need not apply, IMO. If they don't have a production number, then no go.

I have a REAL MSP with no production number... can we exclude canadians from that rule?

i have spent DAYS looking for mine... nothing And i dont know of any Canadian MSP that has one... minus 1 that was an import from US

Tha thread sounds interesting. I like the idea of people nominating other member's cars. Its like the Oscars or something. I think the thread should be on present cars. All the legendary cars have been posted all over 247.

just because they have already been seen shouldnt count them out of the running for the Nicest in History... There are not many more MSPs being fully built up, so i think all Current and Past should be taken into consideration

i say limit 1 nomination per "round"... once 10 have been selected you can nominate a 2nd... but I'd say limit to 2 nominations total.

Ok... i think we have a lot of great ideas in here. Thats everyone for your input. I will start to format something at work today (Without getting fired) and get this compitition going.

Welcome to the Official MazdaSpeed Protege forums "Best Looking MSPs" Of All Time Contest!

ENTRY RULES

6. Each Member may NOT enter more than one Mazda per round. So make sure to choose your favorite.

Contest Requirements:
* A member must submit three high-quality high-resolution images of the MSP they wish to nominate.
* These three Photos can be of any angle of the car that best compliment it.
* Once a members car has been nominated, the owner of the car can request that different photos be used.

.. This could be a problem.

For example. Let's say for the first round of voting, people nominate MSPs like supman, Pirana, n2ka, etc. We vote, and supman is chosen as the winner. So that means that for the second 'round' of voting, Pirana and n2ka can't be nominated. But .. what if their MSPs are still thought to be better-looking than a lot of the MSPs that ARE nominated for the second 'round'?

See what I'm saying? If we don't allow some re-nominations, then we could miss out on some good MSPs.

What if .. we say that the top three 'runner up' MSPs in the 'previous round' of nominations are automatically submitted into the 'following round' of nominations? That way, we can be sure we don't miss out, AND we can help deal with the fact that there aren't truly have a ton and a half of heavily-appearance-modified MSPs out there.

Alright... or we stop at 10 each time, and wait for the voting to be over. Then just keep taking the first 10 submitted. Or we can just get rid of the 10 car max all together.

only the winner is not eligible to be renominated.... that way even if the top 5 cars all get nominated in the first round... they'll win in subsiquent rounds if they keep getting nominated.
