Best HP Gains not including Turbo?

Don't you gain large amounts of boost lag by going to a FMIC and not upgrading teh turbo?

If you go stock MSP setup, go with an upgraded side mount

Haha there is little to no boost lag with the stock t25 because its so small. It like spools at idle lol

And upgraded smic is only good if you are staying around stock hp. Once you get higher up in the hp the fmic flows and is much better. And no, fmic does not make turbo lag. It will actually give you some more whp and run a lot cooler. Smic is a waste of money unless you plan on staying at the stock psi and numbers. And even then, the gains are not worth it and you cant have a mad tyte jdm intercooler up front in dah grillzzz

Thats why you see everybody upgrading to a fmic, and there are so many hard pipes for the smic for sale right now.

I have run multiple front mount setups and have run side mount upgrades with and without hardpipes

the upgraded side mount at stock boost is more than adequate

a front mount on stock boost DOES INDEED have turbolag, especially with a few of the longer piping kits out there like the hiboost

the front mount at 10psi is perfect, and I highly recommend it over the side mount at 10 psi....you gain hp at this point, and enough to warrant the lag...but at stock boost levels (6psi) the upgraded side mount is your best option because you gain horsepower but not enough to warrant lag

Thats why I sad smic is good if you plan on staying at stock boost and never want to upgrade.

And there is very little lag on the t25 because its so small. You can barely give it gas and its almost fully spooled haha

but im going to a junk yard today and one of my friends said there was a stock turbo mx3 or something like that out there
u think the oilines/coolant from that would fit on my setup?
might have to look around for an srt4 and snatch the huge intercooler lol
