i have a p5 and need to know what is the best aftermarket exhaust. i have heard that the magnaflow sounds pretty good but i need other opinions please!

Go with a Racing Beat!! I had one on my P5 when it was NA and it sounded great with a high-flow cat and header.

Everyone will have a diff opinion on this, but most people love Racing Beat. Use the search, you wil find tons of threads on exhausts. But personally, RB or magnaflow would be the best choices.

I had a Greddy Evo2 Catback on mine with the Mam Catless Midpipe and it sounded ungodly awesome. I would definitely recommend it. Only thing was exhaust was 550.00 and the midpipe is discontinued and was 100.00.

I pulled the stock axle back off a MSP. At idle and regular driving there is no anoying noise at all, at 3/4-WOT it sounds very nice. But im guessing maybe 1-3hp gain if that.

and second im looking for a lower throaty kind of a sound. Ive heard that pipes 2,1/2" to 3" diamiter are better for HP but what's do you look for when looking for low sound?
