Best and Worst moments with your MSP?

knox can you pm me with some pictures of the evo 5's on your car? i have older pictures with them on vx filmers and im thinkin about getting some my self i just want to see some more pictures before i go thru with anything. thanks

best moment: every curve. every day. Especially going from I45 onto Loop 610 (daily route to school + work).

worst moment: When i came back from europe in Fall 2006. The car had been garaged for 3 months while i was away. I pulled it out of the garage and thought i checked everything before taking off back to the city. it was out at my parents farm. i pulled out of the farm....down one road... onto a larger road where i could go faster than 10mph (all dirt roads) and got upto 40. got upto an s curve...... applied the brakes.... and they didn't work. i DIDN'T check the damn breaks. got the car sideways to try and make it around the curve at that speed (no way) and wound up in the ditch. Inches away from a barbed wire fence. I was so ****** angry. so angry.

best and worst in one: Maxing out at 136, then when I stop car stalls and CEL comes on lol... Just an o2 sensor tho

I'll have to go get some more, that's all I have at the moment.

Hold on I'll run out side.

Worst: wrecking my car on the 3rd day I owned it. I fell asleep at the wheel, and hit a chevy truck.

Best: First time I took it to the autoX class. All my instructors were impressed.

New Worst: My manifold still isn't here, after 5 weeks of waiting patiently, my patience is giving way. Better be here Monday.....(dunno)

+1 ... I'm still waiting on my steedspeed manifold. I purchased mine in feburary ... he said it would take 3 weeks, I still dont have it. The worst part is, I installed my 3in TBE today, and yea it would have been awesome to have the mani. However, I didn't so I have to do it all again when it gets here. ******* fabulous.

Ordered from protegegarage, but it really isn't their fault. They are just a vendor. Who ever they found that had one needs to get on the ball. Ken has yet to get back to me with a tracking number, so I can't really do much about it. I'm moving, and the last thing I want is to have to show up to my old house checking in on my package.

It isnt the person who they ordered from it is the company shipping it, email ken, use the email that send your oder confirmation. If you were not given a tracking number they probably sent throught U.S postal service, I had this same problem when I ordered brakes, they were sent out same day but the damn post office let it sit in their office in chicago for three days! email and ask him to check the status, that is the best way for them to get back to you.

I have a new worst moment... After driving nearly 300 miles to Phoenix to get my Car tuned It almost didn't happen. Apparently when I ordered the unchip, Which i did through them to avoid any problems, I got an older version of it which requires an old version of their tuning program that has to run off a machine with windows 95... long story short I had to sit there and wait for 2 hours (pissed)before they got it fixed. I was freaking out cause I couldn't stay down there more than Friday.

That led to my new best moment. 197WHP 208 lbft of torque at 10psi. (Ill post dyno chart on on Monday when i can scan it at work) The 300 mile drive home was fun(cabpatch) although that drive from phoenix to vegas is pretty scary at night.

Luckily we got it all worked out!!!! What a difference a tune makes.

Worst: The LSD failing in the office parking lot where I was doing my income taxes and all the money I was supposed to recieve going to pay for the tow and the new LSD and Stage 1 clutch. Also, SU screwing me over when I paid for overnight delivery on the clutch and it taking a week for the clutch to arrive at the shop.

Best: Everytime someone looks at my car and says "nice car" usally followed by "what is it" Also, running 14.71 at the track and betting a Roush Mustang and a modded Jetta GLI

Worst: when the car starts to run like s*** for no apparent reason, i've got EMS sitting in a box broken, the right front brake makes a rediculous noise, the rear sway is squeaking and clunking like a motherf***er, random rattles everywhere, and i have no money to fix any of it

Best: those moments on a twisty road where everything seems to be working right and i start to forget all the s*** that i just wrote about.

Also on the rare occasion that i don't drive anything for 3 months straight and getting in my car and driving for the first time again, and it feels HELLA fast.
