toasted amp. yummy. what impedance do you need 1k watt? you can get a tad over 800 watts into a 2 ohm load from a T3002 from RF that'll run you about $193. or you can get a tad over 1k watt into a 2 ohm load with the RF T5002 for just under $240. but if you want some more power, you can get the T10001BD for about $365 and it'll put out about 1.5k watts into 1 ohm.

course if you want to power your components as well, you can get the T8004 for just under $400 and i'll put out about 200x4 into a 4 ohm load. bridge the rear channels and you get the same power as the T3002 for powering a sub.

i'd go for the T10001BD. it'll put out around 950 watts into a 2 ohm load, but you'll have plenty of headroom and if you want to you can add a second sub and drop it down to 1 ohm and get about 1500 watts out of it.

I deff don't think im adding another sub, 1 Alpine Type X is already enough to make me loose my hearing, lol.

looks like i might end up with the Alpine MRD-M1005 after looking, spec to spec wise it looks perfect for the type x.
