best air freshener ever

but honestly, i got this stuff from walmart once, its a blue spray and it was "new car smell" that stuff was great. Dont remember the name.

60% of the time, it works every time...

Turtle Wax ice interior cleaner smell FTW.

the stuff is great b/c it cleans everything with no residue or shine line armour all. It can also clean fabric, so if you get something on your headliner or carpet it will take it out.

I vacume my car once a week or every other week. Then turtle wax the inside and 1 spray of Fabreeze on every passanger area (where you put your feet).

I only have 25k on my car, but I still get the new car smell compliments... even when the car is filthy (in my eyes)

cool, good comment about simply keeping the car clean of food and stuff will keep the new car smell a looooong time.

the squash freshener,,, I like how someone called it giga squash... that freshener pwn'z the competition. hahaeh. seriously though, I don't know why they call it squash.... I don't know what squash smells like,,,,, this freshener smells like candy in general though, like a huge array of swedish fish, crazy lollipops, twizzlers, mamba's, and mike and ikes. yeah!

Nothing like a fart slowly cooked in a dutch oven, then suddenly released in a confined space such as a little MS3! Hahahaha!(wow)

My car still smells "new" to people who don't ride in it daily. I've owned it for almost a year. It's better than my Focus, which smelled like farts.

stop farting in the car and you wouldn't have that problem.......(cryhard)

Mazda Dealerships sell this s***. Its 12.19$ and you dont have to pay for shipping.

I never knew what that air frshener was called, now I know. The wannabe ricer turbo timer looking ones that every acura and honda has. Right on.

I do agree, in my ricer days when everyone had one of these, I will say they do smell pretty good :)

After reading this thread, I am almost tempted to try this squash business. But I may wait until I can sample it in person.

For years, I've been using something a friend of mine clued me in on. Bed, Bath, and Beyond has these paper sachet packets that they sell in 3-packs. I usually put one up front, one in the back seat, and one in the hatch area. They're probably intended to make closets & bathrooms smell nice, but they work like magic in the car. They're a little strong for the first week or two when new, but they last for 3-4 months easy (6 isn't unusual), and are available in a variety of scents. I tend to go for the vanilla. It's just lightly sweet, and I get a lot of compliments on it from passengers.
