CS-X3 Squash Scented Air Refillable Air Spencer. smells like candy, but better. it's crazy.

I just ordered a refill from www.getsquash.com, although I have not used that particular site before. I know they have them for sale on amazon.com as well.

it's like 12 bucks for the air freshener, well worth it. every ms3 should have one. (10)

for the driver, no, after a few months you're sense of smell adjusts and really doesn't pick up the smell at all (i have 5 refills sitting in my car so that goes to show I have a pretty high concentration in my car). but on the other hand, passengers notice the smell the moment they open my car door. and then they go on and on about how good the car smells. girls love it.

Been using the Giga Squash for years now. Still love it!

+1. I just use a combination of the "trees". I use vanilla and coconut. EVERYONE mentions how nice my car smells. I take them completely out of the wrapper and throw them in the side door pocket. Two new ones a week and throw the old ones away when it wont hold any more.

Haha, in my last car I dropped a bottle of cologne which spilled all over the floor under my seat. The car smelled like that forever, and surprisingly generated a lot of "OMG ur c4r sm311s s0 n1c3" comments.

windows down, best air freshener evar

I do that, too, most of the time. Only downside to that is the headliner, B-pillar and C-pillar trims get dirtier faster. I try to wipe those regularly and see traces of blackness.

My car still smells "new" to people who don't ride in it daily. I've owned it for almost a year. It's better than my Focus, which smelled like farts.

I must be the only one who tries to achieve this smell on purpose. Makes what are normally boring around-town jaunts much more interesting when you have a built-in dutch oven every time. Ah, gotta love the window lock switch.

Alternatively you can just keep the inside of your car clean and free of food/drink products and it will continue to have that "new car smell" for a very long time, instead of annihilating the interior and having to use air 'fresheners'

I had my 330i for 4 years/67K miles and it still smelled&looked new.

I'm not one of those 'live in my car' people though, the inside of my car is entirely spotless with not a single loose item anywhere. The only item outside of my glove compartment/center console is a a single folded towel in the back hatch under the cargo net.

Mine had the new car smell until it got egged and I sent it in for repaint. Then it smelled like the paint shop. Probably going to find some air fresheners at some point.

i used to do this on first dates to see if i found "the one". figures the one im married to also has no olfactory glands
