Bent oem mazda 3 16" Alloys

How easy is it to bend these things?! My girlfriend seem to bend these things like they are made out of tin foil or something. If each replacement i put on there is just gonna get bent anyways, I think will just put up with the annoying vibration instead of dumping anymore money into these things.

How strong are the oem wheels compared to say, 90-120 dollar after market 16" wheels on tire rack? This car may be needing new tires soon, and if I have a bunch of bent wheels I may consider just getting a wheel and tire package. Also, what are the effects of driving on a slightly bent wheel aside from the annoying vibration? The tires aren't gonna jump off of the wheels are they?

Driving on tires/wheels that are unbalanced in any manner will eventually trash your suspension.

If this isn't the first time they've been damaged, then no replacement is going to last--someone needs to be the recipient of a Learn To Drive speech...

What tire pressure are you running? Bumping that up a few psi will increase rim protection.

I do think a rim & tire package might be a good option, especially if some of the wheels are damaged, but keep in mind that aftermarket rims usually look silly on stock height cars.

Also, tell your girlfriend to stop running up on curbs ;)

You need to start telling your girlfriend "No" when she asks to borrow the car.
I hope you at least got "special favors" as apology for wrecking your rims.

...and major error is absolutely correct. Don't drive around with messed up rims or you will end up paying for major suspension work.

Special favors only go so far!!! lol

Buy YOURSELF some nice wheels and HER some steel wheels. And she has to change them prior to driving. Still stop asking to borrow it. j/k
