I posted a more detailed post in the P5 forums, but here I just wanted to comment on what a solid a great kit Corky put together. The shop owner was very impressed with the build quality behind and the way the car ran once finished. If Flyin Miata keeps the same setup, I have to say that we've got a winner.

So far the kit runs great - no detonation, checked the hoses every so often and they are tight as a sealed drum. Power is smooth and consistent and so far most of my fears have been alleviated.

Everyone out there with the BEGI kit let me know what your experiences have been like! Advice, etc?

The only major concern as of yet is to not use high boost unless you floor it. THe stock ecu won't allow Corky's FPR to work at part throatle and the car runs lean. At full throatle the car actualy runs rich.

The only other thing is the MP3s with the kit seem to have some idle irregularities.

FM may end up with reprogrammed ECUs and bigger injectors to better manage the fuel. I guess the stock ECU is just much more incontrol then it was with the Miatas.

BY the way I also have the BEGI kit installed, just incase you couldn't tell.
