I CANNOT build another turbo car that will cost me an arm and a leg.
On the other hand I think our new P5 is slooooooow...I've got a TEC III for the Miata along with the RR kit and don't want to dump alot into the P5.
Just a simple non-IC kit that will get me 170-180hp at the motor, nothing more. I know they sell kits like that for the Miata cheap, thats what I'm looking for.
I'm not too worried about detonation, this is a winter car for us and will see very little hot weather duty if any at all, and there are alot of little tricks to keeping it away. If I HAVE to have an intercooler I'd like to again, get something cheap, or used for the IC.
Plus how in the world is everyone controlling the torque steer? Maybe I need to get used to it again, my first FWD vehicle in 5 years, but it does seem excessive.
I'm not concerned about 1/4 performance, although mid-low 90's would be nice, just something to get me moving on the freeway a bit more without yanking me 5 lanes over when I hit boost.
Saw alot of stuff on the BEGI kit, but no pricing anywhere.
