before and after pic's of my MSP

Yes give it more time to cure, don't buff it yet. Sounds like you already started, in which case too late. Always give new paint plenty of cure time, even before hand waxing it. Power buffer on new paint is a huge no-no.

And on matching the clear, more or less, no, that is not the best way to do it. Would have been much better to just remove the hood, and try to match the clear as best as you can.

If it doesn't match good and it stands out, and you spray the stuff onto your front bumper and fenders, now all of it doesn't match the rest of the car. If it matches good, then it was worthless to mask off the whole car. Either way, taking hood off wins. :)

Looks pretty good, the black center is always good on these cars... need more/better pics to tell one way or the other though.

yeah i started buffing and soon after i starteddd i realizedd this was a big no-no.. but it still came out well.. after it was all done i did notice some orange peel, but it wasnt bad at all.. due to the fact black is the hardest color to shoot, and due to the weather not being that nice out the clear coat came out really well, one little section i found a run, but i only noticed it because i was trying to find it, but to the normal eye you wont catch it.. i think it turned out well.. once the weather is actually sunny ill take some more pics, it been raining and snowing so you cant really see the difference..

And sadddly when i blended the clear into the fenders it did change the color of the front end, it looks better than the rest of the car, like it looks cleaner and much newer, but im hoping when i buff the whole car it will look the same and be just as goodd..

Fresh paint is buffed often. Especially after sanding to eliminate orange peel or other issues after spraying. Been a common practice for years. Its the only way to get a 1st place finish.

Looks good sp33do3.
