Now pushing that much pressure in the engine will bend something right>??

yes, that magical stainless floor pan that you see pop out of the bottom of the car in the F&F;) just messin

it could make the engine a less desierable place to be if you were rods or pistons that much i'll tell ya

Ok everyone who has something to say about this. I boosted my car to 12PSI because I was told by a person who has been working on turbo's all his life said that (1) the T25 can hold up to 325HP (2) the injecters on the MSP can hold only up to 12PSI unless I upgrade them. I have been pushing my car to to the limits and she has had no problems. It didn't come close to shutting down on me either. My turbo PSI gauge is reading right. My air/fuel gauge is reading very lean. I plan to do more upgrades in the future. Don't take my word on it but once I get the dyno reports next week, I will post it. I am happy with what I have done to my car and I have people that know what they are talking about helping me out with this. Have a nice day :)

Keep us posted there badboeey...
Id like to know what numbers its making, what mods in total you have, and if it explodes.
I will be happy with a CAI, hard pipes, BOV, MBC (Joe's), Boost gauge and 9-10 LBS of boost. I want my car to last a while so color me paranoid.

anybody know what the limits on the T25 are? people who don't realize nor do they know what they're doing will start overboosting and go beyond the turbo's limits boosting out of its efficency range rendering the turbo pretty much useless and doing not so nice things to your engine.

now i don't know whats safe or not as far as the stock T25 goes but as long as the internals are holding up hell, have fun with it. you can be everybody's test mule to see what they're made of. i think he should dyno the car to see what kind of #'s he's putting down with 12psi

the limits of the t 25 are 15psi before a restriction overwelmes the turbine
hes close on the hp of 325 but even then your stretching it without upgrading the compressor wheel.
my thought would be to see if a hybrid is an avenue you can take to increase compressor efficiency for a nice 300 hp with the proper downpipe.
with out an upgraded downpipe and FMIC forget those 325 #'s

MAYBE 210-225 @12 psi

haha Thats the first time I've heard someone brag about running lean. Wouldnt that tell you to drop the boost? So you r not running any type of fuel mods? thats not a wise decision. now thats double the boost and then some on stock fuel. These things run rich from the fac but geez.

Sorry I was wrong. I am running rich not lean. LOL
I am sick so forgive me for messing up LOL
I hit stoich once in a while. But thanx for correcting me though.

so running rich isn't all that great either and i certainly wouldn't brag about that as well.

I wouldn't brag about it either, but turboge along with someone else to verify have noted that we are currently running about 10:1 for our A/F mixture (really rich)...soo, with that in mind, I would be bragging (or informing) everyone if I were STILL running rich after boosting up to 12 psi (on a base 6.9 PSI platform) without any fueling/ecu mods.

That's something good to know, but if we could get a second on that motion, it would be even better (for reassurance)

????

Lean, Rich, Lean, Rich you guys sound like a bunch of French food critiques...

my friend has a non-ball bearing t25 on his GST and he's keeping steady boost and power at ~1.2bar or around 17-18psi. anymore than 18psi is running past the eff. mark.

i doubt it would be lower on a ball bearing t25, but i'm not sure.

sounds a little high to me to be efficiant on both sides of the turbo. but you never know unless you put an egt and pressure gauge in the manifold to know for sure.

i'm trying to find a website or something that has a compressor map of the t25. i'll post when i find one. (yes, i do know how to read a compressor map.)

its not 15 its 13 psi. And again do you have a BOV. Cause if you dont it will be faster but not that much. 2nd Gen Eclipse owners can vouch! LEAKY ASS BOV!!

I don't think i'll be running 12psi until i can throw it on a dyno, but I will be runing about 9-9.5 once the MBC comes.

That's where I am at right now turboge. I have said that I took the cat back section of the exhaust off, well today I put it back on and unfortunately it feels like I drove it off the showroom floor, even with 9 psi I am taking it off again tomorrow after work

ok, this is what i've found so far. the garret t25 is in the GT turbo series of garret. the compressor info is:
Wheel trim: 60
Model: tb25
Max Compressor flow: 28 lb/min.
