bb2k5 an englishtown event

I would like to invite everyone to attend a meet that us mx6 and probes are trying to set up. if you like what you see please post on here and the link below. this event has the goal of having a drag event and a show at nearly the same time. please post and let us know

As of right now the role call is listed below and I hope to boost these numbers. After all we all know that people tend to have other plans when meets come around. I would encourage everyone to invite their friends and family. I was also wondering if you guys and girls would think it would be ok to invite possibly the other mazda and related cars(MX3, Miata, Rx7)?

I would also like the people locally to see if there is any sponsor interest in that region, maybe like autozone, carquest, restaurants, or any other businesses. The more funds we can get the better time we can have. I would also like to encourage venders including, pmo, solari racing development, racingmazda, MBX, probeaddiction, czt, extremeperformance, etc it would to have prices on top of the trophies and winners possibly having there cars in the annual calander(if they will let us &#61514.

The plan for the event depending when Englishtown, NJ can have us in July, is the track and show and if they have it open and available there new road course. I am currently writing them an email to get possible dates. Since the location is close to the beach it is planned to stay close to the beach and drive there in the morning. I am thinking this could be a 3 to 4 day event in which we might get the track Friday and Saturday, Sunday all day at the beach or cruising and Monday shipping off. It would be cool to have a dyno there if anyone has any connections.

well you guys are more invited. i have yet to hear from englishtown so as of this week there is no new news. The only thing i have is that there will be a bunch of vendors involved. i would like you guys to list some of the sponsors that do specialty products for the potege. let me know.

Not to put a damper on things, but it is *extremely* difficult and *extremely* expensive to book an event at E-town, especially on weekends. Also looking at their calendar, it seems like every date is already booked (they usually get booked right after the end of the previous season).

Jersey makes a good point, i'm an englishtown regular and can garuntee you the drag strip will already have an event schedualed however the new road course may be free (if it is opened)....However if this can be put togeather i would definately be down

well its on, the event will be held in july formt he 22-24, i will have information on housing up soon.

the price to get in is 15 dollars which will allow you to be involved in a car show, and 30 to race which will include trophies.

an agenda will be posted soon and i encourage sponsors to post because there will be available booths to show off products.

Ok guys I see that there isnt too many response which is unfortunate, but I have narrowed it down to two hotels the Hyatt in New Brunswick, or the Howard Johnson in New Brunswick. Which ever place that gets the most feedback will be the hotel a majority of us will hopefully be sleeping and parting at but also initially meeting at. The Hyatt is a four star hotel and will run about 100 bucks a night, and the HOJO will run 75 a night. Now we can slam people into the rooms to reduce the costs if you would like too.

Once we decide between the two we will be attending the 3 Mile Steakhouse & Pub,
