Battery for 2009 CX-9

I didn't mean to offend. The Costco 24F battery is not a bad battery... 700cca / 875max amps, which is very respectable.
I just have a strong philosophy on batteries (and tires too). With the wife & kids, I want them to be able to never get into a situation where the battery goes flat and its 10 degrees out. In that situation, a warranty does them no good.
Thats the main reason I go with the 800/1000 batttery. Warranty is a added on plus. For me, lots of parts are whatever...like my Toyota Solara that Toyota wanted 800 dollars for the part price on a brake booster, I went to the junkyard and got one for 50 dollars. Or which cabin air filter, or which spark plugs, etc etc.
Anyhow... just my philosophy

Oh no, I didn't take offense... and I guess my perspective here in Southern California might be a bit different than yours! =)

Well I just had my batter replaced for my 2008 at Jiffy Lube (I know I'm stupid). They touched the battery cables to a metal piece of the car and blew a ton of fuses!! They finally were able to obtain fuses after 1 day and I got my car back. The radio sound did not work of course, so we had to change that fuse ourselves. Lesson learned...will do autozone or somewhere else next time.
