Running 17x8.5 with 235-45-17 48 offset
NOTE: 245 tires will not work for the front. It will rub on the inside.
did not need to roll fender, But i will.
My new wheels and tires are the same hight size as the stocker so it wont ****** up the abs and traction. I have rear and front sway bar plus Potenza 760 sport. The car corners like a F1 car.

thanks man. I really love them.

My other tires had 50%y tread left. So i decided to buy some new wheels.

Also selling the factory wheels and tires. Rims are excellent condition with 13k miles on them. I'm going to post it later on for like $400.

I like those rims alot. That is alot like what I've been looking for. I was thinking about going down to 17's as well. How much do the rims weigh? Looks bad ass, Love the rims and looks great on your car. Best so far in my opinion

rims weight the same as the stockers. 24. I really dont care about the weight i just wanted it for looks. Hey tell me this, $600 out the door for the rims sound good? I weight the stocker with tires on and they are 49.7 lbs. My new wheel and tire are 42.3lbs.

Sweet! I was thinking of going 17's too and going wide wheels as well. I don't mind the tires rubbing on the inside though, it only would happen when turning full lock. Do you think you can get a side shot of the car?

Oh yeah, is your name Nader? If so, I was the dude that bought the Forge BPV off you (cool)

With a 17x8 wheel, you can fit 225's, 235's or 245's nicely. I would think wider then that is too much.

That is probably right. I also want to put a suspension on my car and maybe with the 17x8 I wouldn't rub as much. I'm jus waiting to see what everyone else is doing so I'm not a ginny pig

Really. I had 16x7 Rota Slipstreams on a previous car and they weighed 13.5 lbs. a piece. I can't imagine going an inch taller and one-and-a-half-inch wider would almost double the weight.

You are my hero! (rockon)

I am picking up at a set of 17x8.5 next year with that offset. I am surprised to hear the 245's rubbed in the front. I run 245s on 18x8s +48 and I have no rubbing on inside. Do you mean the inside strut or some plastic panel?

I know Cobb is runin 255's on 18x8.5 with a +52 offset and they didn't rub so I am confused as to how 245's rub with +48 on same width rim. Every tire is different but only other explanation is that the potenzas must have a really wide section width. I don't see how they can overcome a 10mm width+4mm on the offset.

In any case, love the setup.

Those wheels are 19.36lbs as per wheeldude (subydude).
