Bad clutch stink

So I had a clutch stink pop up in the last 10 or so days. It was coming and going at first but now it's two days straight everytime I drive.
Does this mean what I think it does? Is my clutch near death and needs to go to dealer ASAP??

I haven't noticed any slipping, no. I will test it out more today. The clutch feels different lately though. It actually takes off smoother, less jerking but that has me worried. The idle seems to drop more taking off. Like I have to throttle up more when taking off.

Still haven't noticed any slipping but smell is still coming and going. Doesn't stay very long though.
Tonight driving home it also smelled like a dirty ashtray (no, I don't smoke). I don't know WTF that was all about. This car scares me.

Car has 40k miles on it.

car taking off smother is in a way, a sign of slipping. take it to the dealer, tell them symptoms.

I got a date with the dealer on Sat. I'll be having them look at the clutch and the K04 chimney while they're under there.
