backlights arent working

I need help i got pulled over by a cop today because my backlights werent working but now here is the catch when i turn my light on the turn on but dimmed and there is no sign of them working without my lights being on like with my corner lights on they turn on but dimmed and they dont flash when i break i checked the fuses the bulbs that they were all the same. can any1 give me any suggestions ...

if it is anything like my front headlights, check your wires, one might be frayed. I had one side dim and the other bright.

well blinkers work but when i turn on my light the dim really bright but when i press the breaks nothing happens

have you checked all the relays and fuses

do you have foglights? I also think its a fuse. My fogs werent working and my tails lights were out the same time

elec gremlins are a b**** to find man....but start simple first than work your way up

i had a problem like this last week , my parking lights front n back dont work but blinkers n head light still work....try checking the "TAIL" fuse in the engine bay fuse box
