I just installed the backup camera kit on my 2011 CX9. I agree that running the wire is a pain, although the instructions give good directions for removing all of the trim pieces. One big problems I found with the instructions was with the template for cutting the hole for the camera. It placed the hole the wrong place. For anyone doing this, if you look on the inside of the plastic trim panel you will see the bracket that the camera will be mounted on along with the outline where the hole really belongs.
