I'm new here, but I've been reading up on this site a bit. I was wondering about short shifters and what people think about them. I'm thinking on getting the B&M one, but wasn't quite sure. I heard it was adjustable??? and if that was good or bad. What is the price range people are spending on them?

Thanks,
Lenny

Lenny, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! (stash)

I have the B&M...and as Hawk said...no its not adjustable...but it is a VERY nice unit. here is a picture of it next to the stocker.

one place its available is Protege5Online.com I believe the going price now is $145. and its well worth it. the shifter comes with the groove in it for the clip so the boot stays where it supposed to and it also has the same thread on it so your stock shift knob will work as well...and just in case you are in the market for a new knob...the thread size is 10mm X 1.25, so that is what your new one will need if its the type that screws on.

Thanks Sir Nuke and Hawk for the info. (kicking feet up and relaxing)
I'll just sit back and take it easy for a week, untill I get the B&M short shifter. Then I can start slamming gears.
