I have been forced to say goodbye to my beautiful Protege5. I was rear-ended on the freeway back in July and needed physical/massage therapy for several months after the accident.

Everything listed below are items I was able to salvage from the car. I only took the time to recover items in good condition. Some of the items were purchased brand new and never installed because they were stored away to be installed at a later time that never came.

Prices include shipping/handling costs to all contiguous 48 states unless specifically noted. Willing to ship most items to Hawaii/Alaska/Canada for an added cost (Please ask for shipping costs). All items will include delivery confirmation if the option is available.

I will honor dibs via PM in the order they are received. After agreement has been reached, you will have 24 hours to send payment before I move on to the next person.

Local sales trump sales needed to be shipped.

Please keep in mind that GT Spec parts for the protege family are extremely hard to acquire these days because the line has been phased out of production. Mintblue Japan is also non existent anymore making the authentic kit virtually impossible to find.

~ Primed and ready for paint, however some minor sanding may be deem necessary.
~ Top of grill was cut out to make fitment possible for a air diversion plate on top. Cannot be seen once hood is closed, nor does it hamper performance.

just curious why the gt spec stuff is priced higher then new ones on street u? its that because they are blue? i was interested until i researched prices

My guess would be because you cant exactly buy new GT Spec parts from anywhere unless you get about 10 orders for the products.

Exactly. I called StreetU just now about their GTSpec parts, and the guy said they dont have anything in stock, and if they did, they would really have to search around for it. Also, SU pics are old. GTSpec stopped producing orange colored parts about 1.5 to 2 years ago and switched over to a metallic blue. Like it is stated in the original post about GTSpec shutting down the protege line, the guy at SU also knew about that and mentioned that if I were to order through them, chances were that he would need a minimum of about 10 people to get GTSpec to even consider the special order.

I don't even think 10 will do it...in the last GB, they actually said they would not make them...I am damn near possitive ANYTHING from GTSPec for the Protege is DONE...
