maybe its your exhust hangers. the stock hangers become very soft and allow alot of movement. it might be hitting something as you go over bumps?

it happen after i put my sway bar back on... it was off for a little while... (i broke a endlink) and i shaked my exhaust and it never hit anything...

ya tell me about it... i cant figure it out... and im starting to get really pissed off lol... it sounds like its on the drivers side however i have no clue... sounds echo..

Get some new swaybar bushings from awr. i did mine the same time i did the clunk fix and havent heard a noise since

sounds like the endlink. I know you said everything is tight, but check again. endlinks top and bottom and the subframe bolts.

if all is tight, remove the endlinks and see if the noise goes away. then, if the noise persists, you can at least eliminate the sway bar as the problem.

*edit* also, did you grease up your bushings as well?

ya i greased the hell out of the them lol...

thanks i thought it was a good idea?? thought about doin a longer video but i see a rock takin out my camera(doh)

ok im going to tightin the endlinks more today after work...

*edit... and i know this is a dumb question but what size is our lug bolts... i couldnt find a size???

mine still makes some noise too and i have new struts/ springs all the way around and i put the new bushings it came with on also...(greased up good)

and i couldnt feel anything wrong with my endlinks

If it sounds like metal on metal, it's probably your endlinks. Check them under load (with the car on the ground) if they aren't completely flush withthe sway bar, you'll clunk. If you find that they aren't sitting right, jack up the car and fix the problem, I had the same thing happen to me.

well i guess im glad im not the only one... but i just got home from work so im out in the garage rite now im gunna look at the endlinks...

well i must say thank you!! found out that the bottom nut on the left side was stripped... it skipped some threads... so now my new endlink has a stripped head... and no nut... so um re thread and find a corresponding nut??

:D glad I could help. You could try and rethread it, but I'd rather buy a new one from mazda. It's worth the peace of mind IMO, plus I don't have a tap and die set. ;)
