Axel locked in spindle.

Well as i went to replace my driverside wheel bearing this weekend, i got everything taken apart and when it came time to beat the axel out of the bearing NO GO. I did everything to get it out except for heating it with a torch cause i didn't have one. So I am going to try again today and tomorrow in between xmas stuff. Has anyone else had this problem. ??

You mean where its supposed to be splined in wit it? might have undo the ball joint or the strut to get it out.

Or unless ur talking about the point where its time to go to a shop and let them "press" it out.

Ha there was no "pressing" We had to get the torch and pretty much heat it to the melting ping and BANG the axle out of it. That was by far the worst one i have ever seen.
