AWR Sway bar Pics!

what is considered really tight? I will be running mine tighter than stock but not so tight as to break the tabs off the struts.
p.s. it says the illumina strut tabs for the swaybar are reinforced but they look no different than the stock struts. Are they reinforced, and will they break if the swaybar is to tight?

if you want it really tight you can put it between, otherwise it goes behind
I want it "TOIT" but I don't want the MF-ing thig coming off the frame of the car, or F-ing up my TEIN's

How stable is it?:(

Start off with about 1" of the bar showing, if the car still understeers or the rear doesn't come around as fast as you want the slide it in. It depends on how you want the car to feel, and how you have the shocks set.

the struts tabs on anything aftermarket will most likely NOT break, i had mine really tight on my stock and they didnt break. you just gotta experiment with it

and brian, you can tighten it up as hard as you want and i dont think it will break off the subframe...just tighten the bolts up as hard as you can

I installed my swaybar today. Took me a long time cause I couldn't figure out how to put the slider together. After some time I realized that I was missing 2 rubber o-rings, which I have ghetto rigged with rubber hose washers until I get them from Tony at AWR. Also, the first time I used the steel conical spacer in the slider bracket instead of the derlin spacer, so I had to undo all that and do it the right way. With all the running around it took me about 3 hours. Would have taken me less if I would have rememberd to look at the pics in this thread first. I mounted it behind the cross bar not inbetween. The slider is like 2.5inches from the end of the bar and the ednlinks are at 8 3/4" long from middle of each bolt. They dont really line up straight with the tabs on the illuminas, but it's good enough. Now time to test it and try different settings

also, I noticed on your guys pics, the swaybar goes to the inside of the strut tab. I put mine to the outside, is there a difference? I didn't even try putting them in on the inside of the strut tabs, is it a better fit there or it doesn't matter either way?

o rings

Hello, just wondering if anyone knew of another place to get the o rings for the endlinks. I called awr and asked about the o rings , they gave me the size, but then told me that I'm better off looking for the o rings closer to home. for 50cents a ring * 8 + shipping to nj from cali, just doesn't pay. So if anyone knows of an alternative store like ace hardware, etc. This would be greatly appreciated. (1" outer dia / 1/2" inner dia / 1/4" thick )
