MM inserts installed! RR racing and AWR
After doing some research on the board, I've decided to go with RR racing front and rear inserts and AWR sides to save $$ and lessen crazy vibration everyone's been talking about after installing the full mounts.
The front was by far the easiest of all to install, took less than 20 mins.
The passenger side wasn't that bad either, people complained about having a hard time getting one of the inserts over the metal thingie, but I didn't have any problem, what I did was I used a screw driver to wedge it over the metal. Now comes the pain in the ass driver side, I know some people didn't have any problems, but when I tried to bolt the mount back into place, the holes wouldn't match up due to the thick urethane. But after hours of trying different ways of mounting the bracket, I can only get two screws in. While I was ready to give up, and put the stocker back in, I got three, and than four!! So, if you run into any troubles, just keep trying, you'll get it. As for the rear mount, I'm not even going to tackle that, I'm going to wait until I get the clutch and flywheel install.
Overall impression, it definitely feels more responsive and the vibration in the cabinet is tolerable and worth the trade off.
Thank you guys for the "How-To", it made the install easier and me as a non-mechanic more confident.
