I bought a set of AWR trans and passenger side mounts in the summer and got around to installing them in September and decided that the inclusion of the passenger side is just a bit too much vibration, noise than I'm willing to put up with. I will miss the lack of engine slop and improved throttle response though.

I have about 500 miles on this one and is up for sale.

Asking $160 shipped ($20 off the $180 on PG http://protegegarage.com/1527-product-1527.html. I can't find them on Tony's AWR site).

I got first dibbs, PM sent. What is pic 2? Looks like two parts?

@ Pmkin: it's technically two pieces connected with that large shoulder bolt, but you install it as one (though you could install each piece separately). Either way, a bit of a support on the oil pan with a jack and a 2x4 block of wood makes it a quick 15 minute install.

The trans/driver side is staying in however.

@ NEWB. AWR sells the various flavors of 1.5" and 2" bushings separately for the firewall/front and the pass, drivers side mounts, respectively. About $15 per bushing (note, not inserts).

Whats the diff between Inserts and Bushings? What does the MM have that I bought?

May as well leave this thread open for us newbes to get info, a lot of good info to come!

I installed it (Passenger Side MM) today and took it for a 1 mile test drive. It feels good and no add'l vibration so far. I already have front and back MM replaced with AWR's ("Automatic" Hardness) and the Tranny MM is still stock. I'll give more feedback after I get some miles on her.

Update: I drove about 20 miles today and the firmness seems to help with shifting AND hesitation, everything is just so much smoother! Still no additional vibration!

Good to hear. Thanks for the quick sale.

I'm keeping the tranny side as that helps; I think the combo was just a bit much for me to handle. You'll enjoy it.
