just wondering but i just installed front and rear awr motor mounts and the vibration upon start up is really bad and at idle, so i was wondering if there is a break in period and it will eventually smooth out or will it always be like that?

I have the AWR front and rear mounts, with a high idle (car just starting warming up I idle at 1200) my car vibrates alot, rattles things I did not know would rattle. But when my idle goes down to 8-900 it does not vibrate that much. I only have 1500 miles on mine so we shall see

I have all of them but the rear, waiting to install, and my car does vibrate. It's not too bad but much more then stock.

yeah the rear one causes allot of vibration at first but i found it doesnt at all now that ive had it on for about 5months

ok soo theres some hope then haha and yeaa destineal it runs alot smoother and sounds better so im liking it

I just installed mine last week. I have gotten used to the vibes and at certain RPMs it shakes but they do break in a little. They won't be as bad after a couple days.

Awr rear and Minerva (old medieval) front ... about 3 months going and unless the engine is 100% warmed up the whole car shakes like nothing else lol.

Just got my AWR mounts in today, Im looking foward to seeing whats going to rattle...

yeah im not looking foward to this but in a few days or so ill be feeling the death rattle i got all 4 also 70Duro so well see how bad it is...my car shakes a bit right now because all my mounts are shot to s*** so hoping its not to much more

No way! medievel changed names? Well i just ordered my awr rear mount this weekend so im excited to get that in. I wonder if "minerva" is still using that special compound in their mounts to reduce vibrations?

Just looked at their product, looks like they still use that compound that reduces vibrations... Wish i would knew medeivel changed names. And with their mount you can rebuild it for $10 and it is $20 cheaper than awr.

Yea they were just on ebay for a while, and I avoided them cuz they started out selling the recalled lightweight PS pulleys. But they took em off and now have their own site I believe and have a good reputation, that why I went with theirs for the front ... that and it was half the price of the AWR lol.

I got three "minerva" medieval mounts for 150, and I paid 170 for the one passenger side AWR. He also threw in a PS pulley so I would say they are worth the savings.

I've got Minvera mounts and notice vibrations at idle. I'm sure it'll take some getting used to.

minerva transmission mount isn't an easy fit

I didn't have any real problems when installing mine. I just used an extra set of hands and a pry bar to get everything lined up.

The trick to the trans mount is to loosen the big black bracket the mount bolts into. There are 4 bolts where it secures to the trans and if you loosen them the mount will line right up and bolt in.

Looks like I spoke too soon in my OP a few posts back . Mine are going on the 3.5 month mark and I def. notice that when the engine is cold its more of a "violent purr" now that they have worn in a little rather than at first which was more like "OHMYEFFINLORDITSANEARTHQUAKE!"
