I ended up buying the AWR mount when I first got the car back in June of '07, I still have it in the box because of the speculations some were have of the 70-durometer. Some say it is too soft yet I see in peoples signitures having the 70 on their car's. Whats the final verdict on the mount...? I definently dont want to install something that I will have to worry about..

we have found its a little soft for the mazdaspeed3, but most people have no problems with it. if you end up needing a different mount and you bought it from us we will take care of you regardless of what route you want to go.

I actually purchased the mount from you guys but just read your policy on the returns sooo I think I am a little overdue on that, from your viewpoint what would you suggest? How's the AWR 80? I have heard good things about the SU... but you don't stock them. The TRZ kind of seems a little on the stiff side for my taste as a DD, but I am open to all suggestions..

well what i am saying is i would waive the return policy for the 70 duro mount if you ended up having problems with it

I had the AWR 70d on for a few months then removed it for a TRZ delrin, noticed that the AWR had split (red rubber stuff) but the AWR was an improvement over stock.

This is my exact suspicion.. I had heard of the AWR-70's having trouble... Think im just going to go TRZ but not the Delrin, I feel like that would be too stiff for a DD, I don't want to sacrifice much of the ride comfort, i know this is impossible because with every mod that improves something it will decrease something in-turn but I really want in between so the TRZ poly looks like the way to go.

the 70D was really designed for the n/a mazda3. it works well on the non turbo 3 and 5 but the extra torque that the mazdaspeed3 puts out is alot for it to handle. when you look at the stock mounts between all three cars they are basically the same but the mazdaspeed has a small piece of steel reinforcing the bushing.

it should also be noted that all new AWR mounts have much bigger and beefier bushings we have noticed.
