speaking of Muff...here he is wheeling my car around as my co-driver at an autocross last season with me as passenger!

Latest AX results

Latest AX, Ripken Stadium north of Baltimore, STS class. For this one I had the strut brace installed, and the car now has MSP springs & Tokico HP's. The tires are still the stock all season Potenza's. They are officially on the short list, I'm getting tired of being spanked by better prepared cars. I finished 7th out of 9:(cryhard)

1 & 2 - two guys sharing a fully prepped Neon. More hardware than I can afford.
3 - some guy in a 99 Prelude, well prepared
4 - someone in a Focus. I beat all his times, except the one run when the INSTRUCTOR drove his car. I'm not racing for money, so no harm no foul.
5 - Honda civic, about 1/2 second faster
6 - Honda civic, same. Within a few hundredths of 5th
7 - me.
8 & 9 - 99 Integra GS, shared car.

The car behaved MUCH better with the new suspension. To be honest, I'm surprised at the level of prep of the front runners. Their cars are WELL prepared. The guy who won STS ran a 44.838, the FTD was set by a pro driver in a Lotus Elise @ 42.028!

Obligatory Pic: Notice rear tire is NOT in direct contact with the pavement, my first documented 3-wheel ride!

Tires. NEED tires. more power wouldn't hurt either, but I guess a Protege isn't really the best choice for winning STS anyway.

Ok here is my latest autocross picture. Cold tires, changed suspension setup and over enthusiastic driver.

Nice backdrop! You're racing scenery is much more interesting in AZ.

Did I happen to mention that my 11 year old son did all the times & announcements in the afternoon session? It was cool to hear my son over the PA saying "good luck dad!"

Yes it was a very nice day. It started off cold 35 degrees or so but by 10 am or so it was shirt sleeve weather. The high was 65 degrees. You can still see the snow on the mountains in the background.

dreeeeft! Hey, I bet it was fun tho!

I was playing around on the "stalker" website (www.stalkerv6.com) this evening, and, while not an autocross pic perse, this picture made my day:

The caption: "Doing 75 on Interstate 75... Justin, off to the Autocross in Gainsville..400 mile round trip"

I WANT THAT! lol

Is RWD conversion legal in STX? ;) lol I know, braking, but still makes it look like you're lightin up the rears

Man I love that car!!! Slammed, big 'ole tires tucked in, and three wheelin... just how it should be. Glad to see some autocross pictures of her finally.

Do the rest of the STX competitors shuffle their feet & look away when you show up in that car? Geez, from reading the rest of the posts about the buildup on that car, I'm guessing you might be a regular competitor for FTD! Nice.

Jeff, can you provide a link to the buildup of this car. If it is out there I missed it. I did a search and found the MS6.

What offset are those 17x8's that you are using? I have the JIC coilovers and have thought about trying to go to a 17x8 but everybody warns against rubbing so I have not.

I have 3 degrees of camber in the front and 4 degrees in the rear.
The 17x8's have a 47 or 48 Offset, I forgot I can check it up if you want to know what it is exactly.
