AWD vs. FWD

If the dealer had possession of the car when the glass broke they are responsible for the car and must repair it. Why should your insurance rates suffer for their mistake?

My rates won't suffer one bit. The dealership's argument is that a rock hit the glass prior to their possession (and I honestly DO recall this happening, I could not find the impact at the time, though, about a week prior). The heated shop easily could have caused the crack propagation in comparison to the literal freezing weather I drove it in from. I've seen it happen before. Since they are eating probably a $2500 charge to repair this POS, I'm not going to pressure them over what amounts to semantics. See, the diff solenoid is not covered under warranty...but the diff...IS, and since they can't repair the solenoid without replacing the diff...arguably, the solenoid IS covered under warranty...but I don't want THEM to argue semantics right now, either!
