AWD to FWD

i have an AWD trany for the 1.8 turbo dohc .. i Dont have an awd car.. someone told me i could cap it .. got any suggestions .. does anyone no if there is an fwd trany that will bolt on

Your best and easiest bet is to pick up a gearbox from a 90-94 Protege LX or Escort GT.

You will have to use the flywheel and clutch from the 2wd box as well.
