i think xelderx owes me an apology now, but I doubt I'll get it. Anyone so damn sensative to a little criticism from someone who has gone that road prior will not have the maturity to admit when they were wrong.
I don't owe you jack s***. I posted what I found to be reported 1/4 mile times on-line. Redrims has shown you the dyno charts that confirm what I said about the STi's whp. I've already corrected my post to what I found online. I trust Redrims replies, but I have infinite respect for Shem because he is an asset to this board with his knowledge and good humor. You on the other hand have absolutely no value on this board that I have seen other than being an asshole. I put you on ignore because I didn't think I could explain to you why you can't go faster in your Pinto, but I'll put two words out there for you...Trap Speed. There are lots of people who are interested in how this is going to work. You obviously aren't since you prefer to argue about other cars so go start another thread and argue away. I'm trying to break down walls that have people looking at our cars as inferior and you, sir, should see value in that considering you have a drag Pinto. I guess you are happy in the fact that you are one of the members of this board that brings the overall forum down. Congrats to you Justin, I'm glad someone is taking the time and money to fully explore the world of AWD for our cars. If everything goes to plan, you'll have one of the nicest Proteges I've ever heard of (and it'll be nice to mention how a car "just like mine" eats WRXs and Evos for breakfast ). Even if you don't get to that level, you'll have gone for something most of us would love to try and have gained the respect of many (myself included (bowdown) )

You're damn right you corrected your posts....because YOu WERE WRONG....just like I said. I however wasn't wrong...I have nothing to edit or correct. The only reason I brought up another car (my pinto) is because I was trying to illustrate to you that I've gone this route before. I know every mistake you're about to make. I was trying to talk some sense into you. It's nice that you CLAIM to be ready to spend $10K on this project but I am right now making it known that "this will not come to fruition within 1 years time". That's a quote. 1 year from now be sure to hit me up nd let me know how it's coming. I don't doubt that you could have money to do this, I'm just saying that it's a WASTE to sink money into something that will still be slower than a cheaper car!! Just go buy the damn EVO and save yourself the money.

This forum here has more young kids acting like dumbass ricers than any other forum I've ever been on....yes including the civic forums. I just get tired of trying to talk sense into people. Turbo Matty, I think I remember seeing you over on TF. I was 87MustangTurboCoupe. I had/have Paul Beckers old project hand me down. After almost 8 grand and replacing everything and I mean everything twice, I finally parted it out and cut it up. I'm sure you saw my posts bitching about the car. The "I hate Turbofords" was a good one.

sounds familiar!! I've got a buddy with an SVO who can't do anything faster than 13's...he's pissed. I'm not sure if it's weight, gearing, or boost but he can't put down more than 270whp....I know he's ready to chop it! I've been tinkering with mine now since 1997 and I've learned to just walk away for a few weeks and do something else!

Equinox...thank you soo much for the pictures. That helps me out a lot. It looks like the channel in the AWD Familia might be a bit wider than what we have. Where did you get those from...I've been searching for that exact picture for at least a year now.
