If you are making a budget, be aware that tires will run you about $.10 per mile.
 
Pasadena CA to Santa Barbara CA and back, driving like a granny no faster than 70, I got 34 mpg. City driving I get about 23. Only mods so far are K&N filter and synthetic oil.
 
The road trip coming down from RIT to Jersey came to an average of 31MPG. Mostly highway and I was cruising right at 75 most of the way.
 
Thanks for all the input guys but this thread is now a moot point. I now have in my possession a Silver MS3 GT baby.. :)
 
Are you guys posting the numbers you calculated yourself at the gas station or the trip computer that's always optimistic by 3~4 mpg?
