Auxilary boost contoller on the MS3??

I just ordered a turboxs brand ABC or auxiliary boost controller. they are used in conjunction with the factory boost control system. the abc will allow you to run slightly more boost while still letting the ecu have some control over the boost. It bleeds off boost pressure to the wastgate allowing you to run more boost and hold it to redline. It worked great on my subaru and didnt have boost spikes like a regular mbc did. Im hopeing it will do the same on my MS3. Has anyone tried this yet?? or am i teh first(boom06)

I've not seen anything like that around the forums, maybe other fellow members. But with all the control the ms3 ecu has over boost and throttle plate, I wont be surprised if it doesn't work. Good luck and keep us informed. (thumb)

hmmm well as long as i dont run more than 17-18 psi it shouldnt be a problem right? whats the throttle plate issue i keep hearing about??

The ms3 ecu close the throttle plate almost 50% close to redline. Supposedly is to prevent the stock turbo(or the engine) of going zoom zoom boom! Another theory is because of not enough fuel pressure. Nothing solid as far as I know.
