Automobile Mag - compares 2010 MS3 to base model

I drive an MS6 but it eats me up when I hear all of these magazines and what-not penalize the MS3 for torque steer ... can these people not control their right foot?
 
Torque steer? The Saab turbos I've owned before had far worse torque steer. Are other FWD high power turbos really that much better now? I doubt it.

And the turbo lag the reviewer is complaining about is far less than in most other turbo cars out there -- one of the real benefits of our smaller K04 turbo. Hell, we have almost the full 280 pounds of torque as low as 2500 rpm.

Those guys just do not like FWD turbo cars. They said this about the original Mazdaspeed:

"It's no secret that the original Mazdaspeed was absolutely gutless with a 170-hp, low-boost turbocharged four-cylinder."

But earlier in the article they find almost the same horsepower in the current regular 3 to be "perfectly ample power."

So, they prefer a more docile ride. Fine. But their prejudice is showing their ass like a woman with the hem of her dress stuck in the back top of her pantyhose walking out of a public bathroom. And they ain't got very good looking asses.
 
Actually, I am yet to experience torque steer. I think torque steer exist in 2nd gear when you floor it. I don't floor it in 2nd I never have there just no need for it. Part throttle is fast enough to get the job done. Plus I drive with DSC on. I think torque steer on these cars is overhyped.
 
The guy who wrote that is a pussy, and I would bet he currently owns a prius or smart fortwo. He admits in the past he went to the mazda dealership with intentions of buying a mazdaspeed protege, but left with a pr5
 
the guy that wrote the article is fing stupid he claims the speed 3 has 255/40 tires on it.
Oh yeah the claims this car has Turbo Lag, WTF is he talking about, boost comes fast in this car.

Can anyone really think of another car that has boost as fast as this one does.

I mean really, go f yourself automobile mag
 
Let them keep the regular 3 and I will just Zoom Zoom in my Speed. I am perfectly happy with my car and I read in another mag that it is in the top 10 for most satisfying car.
 
I don't get it...

If Automobile mag says that the MS3 is a total piece of garbage, so what?

Isn't the important thing how much YOU like (or don't like) YOUR car?
That's all that matters to me.
