Autometer boost noise

My newly installed boost guage makes noise when I am boosting and I am wondering if this is normal? It is readind 7psi and seemes to work fine it just makes noise.

Is your bolt tightened all the way down? Did you use any pipe threading tape on it?

What was the problem?

Where the 2 hoses joined was leaking. (there was a small line that came with the guage and a hard sided rubber one I put in. I live in Canada and did not trust the plastic one in the cold engine bay)
