Automatic headlight / wipers

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the automatic headlight and wiper sensitivity on my 2005 Mazda 3? Any idea where the adjustments for them are located? I find that they are too sensitive. The headlights come on automatically even though it is sunny, and the wipers come on when there is hardly any rain.

uhh, didn't you read your owner's manual? the wipers can be adjusted with the dial on the switch!

as for the headlights, yoiu need to have the dealer reprogram the computer

Headlight sensitivity can only be done though dealer software (WDS system), so find a dealership that'll do it for you.

Wiper sensivity can be adjusted through the dial on the wiper stalk, but if even the least sensitive setting is too sensitive for you, then there may be an adjustment through WDS (but I'm not sure on this one).

i love it when my headlights go on randomly threw a short tunnel and then turn off...it always seems to amuse me... (thumb)
