WAY pricey, but looks like a good idea. Anyone try it yet?

For $789 I would rather have a ems and have money left over.Hugh rip off since Im sure its not any better then MS CAI type.

cobbs design is gonna be real close to the same thing and WAYYYYY cheaper.

Yes, but will it have the lovely carbon fiber exterior? I think not. Everyone has to agree that it's beauty justifies the $500 premium.

Re: Cobb. What's coming out right now is just the MAF and filter sitting right in the engine bay without any protection from heat. Eventually, they have a box when they get around to it, sometime. Maybe about the same they come out with their EMS solution. Next spring, next year? Who knows.

So, has anyone bought one of these yet? Ridiculous price, but that's the import tax premium. Be cheaper if you lived in Japan.

If Cobb makes one, how does it not suck up rain water?

I'm waiting on the Cobb version myself. I just wish they used black hose instead of blue. The more stock-looking, the better.

the fact that it's made out of carbon fiber explains why it costs so much, but it in no way means that people would agree that it justifies an extra $500 on an intake which is hidden in the engine bay 99% of the time...=/

This might be a dumb question, but, will it affect airflow for those of us that still have the TMIC?
