Autocross Sep. 4 - Atlanta Motor Speedway

I'll be running in the first run group. Kevin, Wayne...where do they actually do the course? Or do we just run laps in circles?

If the event actually pulls through (everything is still up in the air since the tornado there), it'll be in the parking lot.

For those that don't know, while we are racing the SCCA Club Racing (IT, SM, etc) guys will be on course doing their thing.

Wayne, will the autocross drivers have to pay entry to spectate at the club race?

don't kid yourself...you're too rice to come out and watch a real race ;)

dammit.. Why do I always get Atlanta Motor Speedway confused with Road Atlanta?

I am not rice. I just don't see the point in trying to make an auto fast. It won't happen. I can't barely hang with your car. It sucks! But I love my auto everyday while I sit in traffic.

Damnit... i did the same thing!!! I was getting all excited... but all my hopes and dreams were instantly shattered. :( Oh well... i'm used to it.

I'll try to make it. Dru too, if she's not overwhelmed with Law School stuff.

Hopefully we'll see ya'll there!

is this open to anyone, such as time only. i might actually do this one. im afraid im going to get lost on the track. everytime i've gone with someone, im like where the hell is the course. like i'll probably go on the inside of a cone when im suppose to go on the outside of a cone. a good example is on saloms. how long is registration open for. i'll know by friday if im going or not.

Luke, Register yourself in FSP like you usually do. Once that's complete, go through the same process again, but when the window where you change your information is displayed, change your class from FSP to TO2. Once all is said and done, check the entry list to confirm that you are registered in both classes. When you register for the next event, be sure that your class is set back to FSP.

Mike, yes, the event is open to everyone. Registration closes at 10am the Saturday before the event. Go ahead an register. If you register and don't show up, nothing happens. However, if you show up and don't register, you don't race. Registration is free.

i am not quite sure you might be put in FSP because you changed the motor mount

however for the time being register for N1 or N2 (1 is mornin 2 is afternoon group) to run in the novice group. Dont worry about missing cones or anything everybody does it even the expierenced guys.
