I was just wondering how expensive insuring the MSP is compared to the sedan protege. I remember a while back people were saying that insurance companies only recognized the MSP as a regular protege. Just like to hear what you guys are experiencing. Thanks

I'm with eerie insurance and they know the difference.
i had a 93 accord and i was paying about $900 a year and then i got my MSP and now im paying $1200 a year, thats about all i can compare it to.

I work for American Family Insurance...

our rates are like this for 2003 proteges;

ES - $295.2 6/month
P5 - $317.10 6/month
MSP - $333.80 6/month

damn, sky high comparted some people i know.

mine just got lowered on my lx to 233. and i think that is alot.lol

low insurance FTW!

i got quoted 1900 and change every six months for a 99 civic ex.lol i just laughed.
my driving record has been ticket free for roughyl 2.5 years now. coming up on 3. so i might switch insurances to see if it gets lower because ill be going on there with a clean slate.

i have a bit of help as far as mine... we're both over 25, married, clean driving record and multiple policy discount...

This is true...deductable being one of the biggest. Mines set at 1000. Save me lots of money so far.

the biggest on the I know of..... (I sell here) is LOCATION and or Driving record.

at least in WI ded is one of the smallest factors.

i live in minnesota and i am 19. and i pay 200 a month. with 100 dollar deductable. so i am going to go insurance shopping

rating factors;

ZIP code
Motor vehicle Record
Vehicle
Age/Sex of driver (primary or occasional)
Coverage chosen (Liab only, Rental etc...)
Levels of coverage (Deds and Liab limit, etc...)

if you just raised your deductable to 500 or 1000 your insurance would go down quite a bit...give your agent a call
