i just hope with my razo knob that i have the 10mm insert around somewhere because at the moment i have the 12mm in it (because i removed the stock shifter extension)

kartboy bushings have arrived this morning. shifters havent been sent yet because the company we're going through still dont have their most recent shipment from TWM (should be early this week though).

so i can post the bushings to yowl now if you like, give them to you at the newcastle cruise or post them with your shifter later. just let me know what you'd like to do.

monday night drinkies huh??? LOL hell even i'm not that bad...mind you i had an excuse...working on me car.

so here's the news - cam gears installed. no problem with installation (i'm a legend mechanic remember hehehe). idle good. i let the engine warm up and there's a lil problem. the cam gear is rubbing the exhaust cam sensor. i dont think it's a problem (will just file off the small part where it's rubbing), but i'm just going to check to see if that will be ok first...

other than that - i'm almost set for the newthingie cruise (yippy)

by the way what does that sensor actually do?? apart from stall the car when disconnected!!!

shifters should be sent to us anytime now...maybe even tonight. as soon as i know i'll let everyone know.

ot - my cam gears work a treat i likey!!!! ; also exhaust - that's the feb/march project

btw - i installed my kartboy shifter bushings. good improvement there. the shifter is much more precise. lost a real lot of it's spunginess

Was the shifter noticeably sloppy prior to the bushing install, or is it a more relative thing, e.g. it is tight now, but earlier...

relative. very tight now. very little movement....with the shifter there will be even less "play"
